Dr. Lisa Mumau is new to the district for 2024-2025 school year! Dr. Mumau comes to Sto-Rox from the Ringgold School District. Her resumé also incudes time as director of Special Ed and Pupil Services in the Steel Valley School District. Dr. Mumau brings a wealth of experience and expertise, with degrees in psychology, counselor education, administration, and a doctorate in educational leadership. She continues to learn, most recently completing a program on trauma-informed care and de-escalation. Dr. Mumau led school improvement efforts at Ringgold, including restorative practice training, student discipline, and attendance. She’s excited to work with Sto-Rox’s youngest learners!

Dr. Mumau also teaches post-secondary learners; she is an adjunct professor at Point Park University and Westmoreland County Community College, teaching in nursing, social justice, criminology programs. A native of Greensburg, Dr. Mumau lives in Jeanette and has a son who just graduated from high school and will attend Slippery Rock University.

Timothy Liparulo

Timothy Liparulo joined the district in March 2023 as Assistant Principal for Sto-Rox Upper Elementary. For 2024-2025 school year, he is moving to the Primary Center! Liparulo came to Sto-Rox from the Butler Area School District. He said he was excited to come to a place “where I can grow as a professional, work with a professional team that is full of passionate people who are looking out for their students.”
