Dr. Lisa M. Mumau is entering her second school year with the Sto-Rox School District. She joined the district in 2024, bringing with her a strong background in school leadership and student services. Prior to Sto-Rox, Dr. Mumau served as Director of Special Education and Pupil Services in the Steel Valley School District and most recently held a leadership role in the Ringgold School District, where she focused on academics and school improvement, restorative practices, student discipline, and attendance.

Dr. Mumau holds advanced degrees in psychology, counselor education, and administration, along with a doctorate in educational leadership. Committed to continued professional growth, she recently completed training in school improvement, trauma-informed care, de-escalation strategies, and restorative practices. In addition to her K-12 work, Dr. Mumau also serves as a post-secondary educator, preparing professionals in the fields of human services and education.

Originally from Greensburg, Dr. Mumau continues to live in Westmoreland County with her son, and benedoodle, Rosie. Her son will be entering his second year at Slippery Rock University. Dr. Mumau remains excited and committed to support Sto-Rox’s young learners and families through community outreach, volunteering, and school-to-home connections. She is excited to welcome everyone to the Sto-Rox Primary Center, where all learners are STO-ROX STRONG!


Timothy Liparulo

Mr. Timothy Liparulo is entering his third year with the Sto-Rox School District and his second year as Assistant Principal at the Sto-Rox Primary Center. He originally joined the district in March 2023 as Assistant Principal at the Upper Elementary School. With a strong background in classroom instruction and educational leadership, Mr. Liparulo brings a passion for supporting both student growth and staff development.

Before joining Sto-Rox, Mr. Liparulo served as a middle school science teacher in the Butler Area School District, where he focused on building positive school culture, improving student engagement, and supporting inclusive learning environments. He is dedicated to implementing trauma-informed practices, strengthening student behavior supports, and building strong home-school partnerships to benefit all learners.

Mr. Liparulo holds graduate degrees in education, administration, and biomedical services and continues to pursue professional development in areas such as restorative practices, social-emotional learning, classroom management, and effective instructional leadership.

Originally from southwestern Pennsylvania, Mr. Liparulo lives in the North Hills with his wife and three boys. Outside of school, he enjoys coaching youth sports, camping with his family, and being active in the community. He is excited to support the students, families, and staff of the Primary Center and looks forward to a school year filled with learning, growth, and connection. He believes deeply in the Sto-Rox mission and is proud to help every child become STO-ROX STRONG!
